Troy Edward Link

Troy Edward Link, 59, of Homer, passed away on September 22, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 20, 1964 to Clair Link and Carol (Bufford) Link- Barker in Tecumseh, MI. Troy married Melanie Beth Mickle on September 15, 2007 in Homer, Michigan. Troy owned and operated Link Trucking and Truck Service. He loved building and restoring semi-trucks and going to truck shows.

Troy is survived by his loving spouse, Melanie Link; children, Renee Wise of Onsted, MI, Kevin (Morgan) Minix of Homer, MI, Greg (Debbie) Minix of Homer, MI, Jennifer (Jeff) Westbrook of Newberry, FL; grandchildren, Bayleigh, Noah, Makayla, Harrison, Camden, Betty, Payten, Brooklen, Wyatt, Makenzie, Jordan, Chase, Alivia, Beckett, Dawson; brothers and sisters, Tim Link, Tabitha Willet, Rickie Devore and Bill Link.

Troy was preceded in death by his father, Clair Link and brother, Terry Link.

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm with a memorial service starting 2:00 pm at Kempf’s of Homer with Pastor Mike Erlacher officiating. 

Interment of Troy’s cremated remains will be in Fairview Cemetery in Homer.
