James "Jimmy" Harold Roan

James Harold Roan, 72, of Homer, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, MI. He was born on February 26, 1952 to Kenneth and Mary (Dewey) Roan in Albion, MI. Jim graduated from Homer High School. He liked to visit with friends around Homer and be outside during the summer. Jim liked to ride his bicycle around town and go to the Dairy Delight for a cheeseburger and fries. During the winter, Jim liked to shovel snow for people he knew.

Jim is survived by his sisters, Carol (Charles Warner) Roan of Homer, MI and Eleanor Jean (Norman) Bender of Marshall, MI.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Kempf’s of Homer Event Center, 303 S. Hillsdale St., Homer, MI. 

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 2:00 pm at Bentley's Corners Cemetery, Clarendon Twp., Michigan. 

Memorials are suggested to the charity of one's choice. Arrangements for Jim have been entrusted to Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services.
